Hardware requirements and device behaviour
1. Supported operating systems#
Mobile Connect is officially supported on the last 2 official OS version for Android and iOS:
- iOS 18.x
- iOS 26.x
- Android 16.x
- Android 17.x
While Mobile Connect is designed for phones, it will also work seamlessly on (most) tablets.
Note: due to operating system limitations, we do not support Xiaomi devices.
Tip: Make sure to always update both your phone as well as Mobile Connect to the latest version to ensure you have access to the latest features and security patches.
2. Am I automatically logged out?#
You will have to login again every 12 hours. This is a security limitation of Amazon Connect.
3. How much data is used for a voice call over WebRTC?#
On average, a WebRTC Audio phonecall consumes 1.6 MB per minute
