Required Firewall Settings & IP Allowlist
Mobile Office runs on Genesys Cloud, so you firstly need to make sure the required Genesys firewall settings are setup first. In addition to that, you need to add a few extra domains for Mobile Office to work properly.
What additional domains do I need to allow?#
Add these three domains to your firewall allowlist:
- *.idealsystemscloud.com (help center)
- *.idealsystemscloud.be (click-to-dial Salesforce, legal docs)
- *.mobileofficecloud.com (application back-end)
These domains handle Mobile Office's specific functions that work alongside your Genesys Cloud setup.
Why can't you give me specific IP addresses for Mobile Office?#
The MobileOfficeCloud.com domain uses Amazon Web Services. This means the IP addresses change regularly. Amazon publishes their current IP ranges at: https://ip-ranges.amazonaws.com/ip-ranges.json. Your network team can use this file to get the latest IP addresses if they need them instead of using domain names.
Can Mobile Office be used in conjunction with Genesys Allow IP list?#
Unfortunately, it is not possible to enable the Genesys Allow IP list feature and use Mobile Office. This is due to the fact that our servers are sitting on a dynamic IP range in AWS. Furthermore, the Mobile App on the users end device will have a dynamic IP as well.
